Job summary

Optum is seeking a Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) to join our San Tan Valley, AZ team. This outpatient role focuses on value-based care with EPIC EMR and AI Scribe support, backed by a dedicated MA team for rooming and care coordination.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS degree required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active and unrestricted Arizona medical license or ability to obtain.
• Current and unrestricted DEA certificate or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient adult medicine primary care focusing on value-based care.
• Office consults, annual wellness visits, preventative care, follow ups and in-office procedures.
• Full-time position with 18-22 patients per day after ramp.
• EPIC EMR with AI Scribe support and dedicated MA team.
• Onsite lab and pharmacy resource support; balanced admin time.
