Job summary
Optum AZ in San Tan Valley, AZ seeks a Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) to join our team.
Outpatient adult medicine with value-based care; EPIC EMR with AI Scribe; dedicated MA team; on-site lab and pharmacy support; 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday; relocation package available.

Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.), or M.B.B.S
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active and unrestricted Arizona medical license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Current and unrestricted DEA certificate or ability to obtain prior to start
Responsibilities
- Outpatient adult medicine primary care focusing on value-based care
- Office consults, annual wellness visits, preventive care, follow up appointments and in office procedures
- Full time position
- 18-22 patients per day after ramping up
- EPIC EMR with AI Scribe support
- Dedicated MA team for rooming and support
- Onsite lab and pharmacy resource support for medication refills
- Protected administrative time to ensure balance in your day
- Clinic is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
- Relocation package available
