Cal State East Bay in Hayward, CA seeks a Physician - Primary Care for the Student Health & Counseling Services. The role is hourly, non-exempt, supporting clinical and operational needs with a focus on primary care, diagnostics, and patient education.

The incumbent will provide outpatient medical care, respond to emergencies, and contribute to accreditation and compliance efforts within SHCS.

Competenze

• Graduation from medical school (MD or DO) and residency in primary care.
• California medical license in good standing.
• ABMS/AOA board certification appropriate for duties.

Mansioni

• Provide a full range of outpatient medical care to CSUEB students.
• Examine, diagnose and treat general medical problems.
• Interpret lab results, ECGs, and initial x-ray findings.
• Collaborate with nurses and staff for preventive medicine and health education.
• Assist in emergency medical care and routine clinical operations.
• Support re-accreditation efforts and HIPAA compliance.
