Job summary

Cal State East Bay seeks a Physician - Primary Care for its Student Health & Counseling Services. This hourly, non-exempt role provides a full range of outpatient medical care to CSUEB students, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive services.

The physician will support SHCS operations, participate in education and administrative meetings, and respond to medical emergencies on campus. Minimum qualifications include MD/DO and completion of a primary care residency; licensure in

• Thorough knowledge of primary care medicine and ability to manage common medical problems.
• Ability to diagnose and treat outpatient medical issues and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of outpatient medical care to CSUEB students.
• Examine, diagnose and treat general medical problems.
• Collaborate with SHCS management to meet health care needs of the CSUEB community.
• Assist in medical emergencies and provide first aid to students, employees and visitors.
