Piedmont Health Services, Inc. in Burlington, NC is seeking a Physician to deliver ambulatory primary care across all ages, including acute and chronic illness, preventive care, and minor procedures. You will see scheduled patients, walk-ins, and add-ons during clinic hours.

The position supports 24–40 hours per week with Mon–Sat hours and a strong focus on quality improvement and community service. Visa sponsorship and other benefit programs are available.

Qualifications

• Primary source verified Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree and completed residency. All physicians shall be board certified or board eligible with certification pending. In case a provider fails to pass board examination, employment will be rendered probational and circumstances reviewed; employment may continue at the discretion of the Chief Medical Officer until repeat testing. Repeated failure to pass boards will result in termination.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the full range of ambulatory primary care services, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness across all ages, preventive care, well child care, and minor procedures.
• See scheduled patients as well as walk-ins and add-ons during Center operating hours.
• Provide telephone consultation as needed and perform administrative tasks related to medical care.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and provide community service; precept UNC Family Medicine residents when available.
