Job summary

One Medical is seeking a physician in San Rafael, CA to manage a patient panel across acute, chronic and well visits, in-office or testing centers, with occasional telehealth.

You will lead weekly Clinical Rounds, collaborate with in-office and virtual teams, supervise NP/PA colleagues, and pursue additional state licensure for multi-state virtual primary care. This full-time role offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Completed residency in Internal or Family Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible with plans to certify within 1 year.
• Licensed to practice in California prior to start date.
• Outpatient primary care experience in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Managing a patient panel with acute, chronic, and well visits.
• Treating patients in-office or in testing centers and via tele-health visits.
• Participating in weekly Clinical Rounds and other learning modalities.
• Collaborating with in-office and virtual teams through daily huddles.
• Utilizing clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures.
• Supervising one or more NP or PA colleagues.
• Obtaining additional state licensure for multi-state virtual care.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
• Treating patients in- office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
• Supervising one or more NP or PA colleagues
• Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states

Education, Licenses, And Experiences Required For This Role

• Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
• Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting
• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
• State licensed in California, obtained before your One Medical start date

This is a full-time role based in San Rafael, CA.

Compensation

Base salary range: $308,700 to $369,000 based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.

Relocation assistance may be available for this role.
