Job summary

Delaware Valley Community Health in Philadelphia seeks a Family Medicine Physician to join its Residency Faculty as we expand the ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Training Program. You will provide primary care to underserved communities, support medical students and residents, and contribute to a teaching-focused health center.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical school is required.
• Current Pennsylvania medical license is required.
• Board certification in specialty is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Experience with treating substance use disorder preferred.
• Interest in precepting medical students and residents.
• Minimum one year experience as a practicing physician in primary care preferred.
• Meets credentialing and privileging criteria as outlined in policy.
• Positive, enthusiastic demeanor with patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to underserved communities as part of DVCH's Residency Faculty.
• Document patient visits accurately in the chart and complete required reporting.
• Collaborate with a teaching team to mentor medical students and residents.
