Job summary

Fairmount Primary Care Center - Delaware Valley Community Health in Philadelphia seeks a Family Medicine Physician to provide primary care to underserved populations while joining the 3rd year of the ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Training Program. This residency faculty role is part of DVCH’s first teaching FQHC in Philadelphia.

As a core member of the primary health care team, you will document visits thoroughly and participate in administrative reporting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical school.
• Current license to practice medicine in Pennsylvania (PA).
• Board certification in specialty is preferred.
• Interest in teaching medical students and residents.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in primary care preferred.
• Meets credentialing and privileging criteria as outlined by policy.
• Positive, enthusiastic demeanor when working with patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to underserved populations within Delaware Valley Community Health.
• Serve as Residency Faculty in the Family Medicine Residency Training Program.
• Ensure complete documentation of patient visits and administrative reporting as assigned.
• Collaborate with the primary health care team to deliver comprehensive care.
