Job summary

Privia Health, LLC in Portsmouth, VA is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join the team with a partnership track after 1 year. The role supports both part-time (3 days/week) and full-time schedules, with base salary in the $220k–$240k range, plus a productivity bonus structure.

Eligible candidates include BC/BE physicians in Family or Internal Medicine, ideally with outpatient experience and willingness to obtain an active Virginia license and DEA registration.

Qualifications

• Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or BE and within two years of residency completion.
• Outpatient primary care experience preferred; strong interest in outpatient medicine for new grads.
• Active Virginia Medical License and DEA registration or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, traditional primary care focusing on continuity and preventive medicine.
• Manage patient panels for Family Medicine (ages 5+) and Internal Medicine (ages 18+).
• Diagnose and manage acute/chronic conditions; perform annual wellness exams and immunizations.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostics; document using the EHR; coordinate care with specialists.
