Job summary

Yale New Haven Health's Primary Care practice in Stonington, CT is seeking a Primary Care Physician. The position features a four-day work week with 40 scheduled hours (36 clinical/4 admin) and shared weekend phone coverage.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with ABIM internal medicine residency (3 years) or ABFM family medicine residency (3 years) is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, treat acute and chronic illnesses.
• Order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Involve patients and families in decisions about care and treatment.
• Create and execute treatment plans and orders in charts.
• Collaborate with staff, other physicians, and management to improve care delivery.
• Initiate appropriate specialty referrals and provide timely information to the team.

Education
