Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with ABIM-recognized internal medicine residency (three years minimum) or ABFM-recognized family medicine residency (three years minimum).
• Valid board certification in internal or family medicine.
• Valid Connecticut medical license (or in process).
• BLS certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Involve patients and families in care decisions and create treatment plans.
• Collaborate with staff and other physicians to improve care delivery.
• Ensure proper documentation and billing/coding compliance.
• Provide interdepartmental medical consultation as requested.
