Job summary

One Medical in Washington, DC is seeking a board-eligible/internal medicine or family medicine physician to manage a diverse patient panel across acute, chronic, and preventive visits. You will provide in-office, testing center, and tele-health care while engaging in ongoing learning with Clinical Rounds and collaboration with both in-person and virtual teams.

The role emphasizes human-centered care, teamwork, and the use of technology to deliver high-quality care.

• State license in Washington, DC prior to start date

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient panel with acute, chronic, and well visits
• Treat patients in-office, at testing centers, and via tele-health
• Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other learning modalities
• Collaborate with in-office and virtual clinical teams
• Use clinical training to perform in-office procedures when appropriate
• Supervise NP/PA colleagues
• Willing to obtain licensure/credentialing for virtual primary care in additional states

What you'll be working on:

• Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
• Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
• Supervising one or more NP or PA colleagues
• Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states

Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:

• Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
• Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting
• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
• State licensed in Washington, DC, obtained before your One Medical start date

This is a full-time role based in Washington, DC

One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this role is $253,200 to $302,700 based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule.
