Job summary

Konza Prairie Community Health Center is seeking a compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our growing team at our Federally Qualified Health Center. We provide integrated care across behavioral health, dental, pharmacy, and care coordination services for patients of all ages.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, NHSC loan repayment eligibility, and a schedule Monday–Friday with no evenings or weekends, plus CME and license reimbursement.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care.
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preventive, chronic, and acute care for patients of all ages.
• Diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions with individualized treatment plans.
• Perform wellness visits and preventive screenings.
• Collaborate with behavioral health, dental, pharmacy, and care coordination teams.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support quality improvement initiatives.

Konza Prairie Community Health Center is seeking a compassionate, patient-centered Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our growing team. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we provide comprehensive, integrated care for patients of all ages through a collaborative model that includes behavioral health, dental, pharmacy, and care coordination services.

What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive preventive, chronic, and acute care for patients of all ages.

• Perform wellness visits, preventive screenings, and chronic disease management.
• Collaborate with behavioral health, dental, pharmacy, and care coordination teams to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Current Kansas medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
• Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Eligible for credentialing with commercial insurance and Kansas Medicaid.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred

• Experience in an FQHC, community health center, or other primary care setting.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
• Interest in integrated care, quality improvement, and serving underserved populations.
