Job summary

Optima Medical is seeking a Primary Care Physician to promote and maintain patients’ health through high-quality, patient-centered care. The physician will perform examinations, interpret tests, and manage overall health, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support disease prevention.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Primary Care Physician in an outpatient setting.
• Strong knowledge of primary, acute, and chronic care management.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong clinical judgment and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient examinations and review medical histories.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate and timely charting.
• Communicate clearly with patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and medications.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, prevention, and wellness.
• Promote evidence-based health practices.
• Maintain clinical competency and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Provide clinical supervision and oversight to Physician Assistants in accordance with applicable regulations.
