Job summary

Optima Medical is seeking a Primary Care Physician to promote and maintain patients’ health through high-quality, patient-centered care in an Arizona-based medical group with 30 locations.

You will conduct physical examinations, interpret tests, and manage overall health while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient examinations and review medical histories.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests (labs, imaging).
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate and timely charting.
• Communicate clearly with patients regarding diagnoses, plans, and medications.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, prevention, and wellness.
• Maintain clinical competency and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Provide clinical supervision and oversight to Physician Assistants as required.

We are seeking a Primary Care Physician to promote and maintain patients’ health by providing high-quality, patient-centered care. As a Physician, you will be expected to conduct physical examinations, interpret diagnostic tests, and manage patients’ overall health. You will serve as both a clinical provider and an advocate for disease prevention, supporting patients on their path toward improved wellness. Extensive clinical experience in primary care is highly valued. A collaborative spirit and positive attitude are a must, as you will work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
