Job summary

Kintegra Health in North Carolina seeks a Primary Care Physician or experienced APP to join a community-focused practice. The role includes clinical leadership and supervision of midlevel providers, with direct work alongside the Chief Medical Officer.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Current NC MD/DO licensure or eligibility and DEA certificate required.
• Board Certification in Specialty preferred.
• Experience in medical office or FQHC preferred.
• Population health management knowledge for underserved populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical evaluation, treatment and consultation for patients.
• Lead and supervise midlevel providers and clinical staff.
• Coordinate care with the Chief Medical Officer and other leaders.
• Respond to emergencies and answer medical questions.
• Complete documentation to comply with insurance and reimbursement guidelines.
• Oversee referrals, orders, and follow-up for patients.
• Supervise care provided by non-clinic agencies (home health, nursing home, hospice).
• Participate in quality improvement and peer education activities.
