Job summary

Kintegra Health in Shelby, NC seeks a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our patient-centered clinical team. Under physician supervision, you will provide a broad range of medical services, perform histories, exams, orders, treatments, and patient education.

This full-time role requires NC PA/NP licensure, DEA, strong communication and computer skills, and commitment to serving underserved populations.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted certification and/or licensure.
• CPR and applicable certifications required (must be obtained within 30 days of employment).
• Experience in medical office or FQHC preferred.
• Knowledge of population health management in underserved populations.
• Communicates effectively with patients, providers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Engages in patient-centered care with patients and families.
• Provides medical evaluation and treatment as part of the clinical care team.
• Obtains and documents medical history, chief complaint, exam, assessment and plan.
• Provides orders for prescriptions, tests, and referrals.
• Reviews test results and coordinates follow-up with patients.
