The Phoenix VA Health Care System seeks a Primary Care Provider to manage comprehensive patient care within a multidisciplinary clinic. This is a temporary intermittent position not to exceed one year.

The physician will handle clinical duties, documentation, and coordination of care for veterans enrolled in VA health services. Requirements include an MD/DO, active licensure in the U.S., completion of an approved residency, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
• MD/DO degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in a U.S. state or territory.
• Completion of approved residency in a core specialty.
• Proper credentials to practice medicine in the U.S.
• Ability to obtain board certification as applicable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide primary care management for enrolled patients.
• Work in a team-based clinic with physicians, NPs, and staff.
• Perform histories and physical exams and document findings.
• Order and interpret routine lab tests and imaging.
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education.
• Coordinate care and referrals for patients as needed.
• Maintain licensure and CME requirements.
