Job summary

Carbon Health is seeking a Board-certified Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our Sacramento network in a full-time role. You will deliver patient-centered care on a high-performing team, with a 4-day work week, no on-call duties, and holidays off to support work-life balance.

You will lead a clinician team, supervise PAs/NPs, and contribute to innovations in care delivery through CarbyOS and AI tools, while focusing on quality outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Board-certified (MD/DO) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and unrestricted DEA license.
• Licensed (or eligible) to practice in your state.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient-focused history and physical exams
• Provide basic women’s health services, including Pap smears
• Develop evidence-based workups and treatment plans
• Care for adult patients (no pediatrics)
• Interpret x-rays, labs, and EKGs
• Manage patient flow efficiently with Central Support assistance
• Provide leadership for your team of MAs and support staff
• Supervise assigned PAs/NPs
• Manage a patient panel with an emphasis on quality outcomes

Full Time Salary (40 hours per week):

$260,000-$367,200

Carbon Health offers a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary and eligibility for additional incentive bonuses tied to wRVUs and quality performance metrics. Final offer amounts are determined based on a variety of factors, including education, experience, work history, and geographic location.
