The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) – Department of Veterans Affairs in Kansas City is recruiting two full-time Primary Care Physicians to deliver comprehensive outpatient care to a diverse veteran population. You will follow VA guidelines, document in the electronic health record, and collaborate with specialists as needed.

You will join a dedicated team in a VA clinic with opportunities for professional development and participation in the Education Debt Reduction Program.

Qualificações

• Must possess an MD or DO degree from an approved school.
• Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is preferred.
• Residency training approved by ACGME/AOA and board eligibility as applicable.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Must meet pre-employment physical and weight/vision requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide primary care for a diverse veteran population in an outpatient clinic.
• Follow VA clinical guidelines and document thoroughly in the EHR.
• Coordinate care with specialists and other providers as needed.
• Report to the Primary Care Service Section Lead and maintain professional standards.
• Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional after-hours.
