Job summary

Shawnee VA Clinic, part of the Veterans Health Administration, seeks a full-time Primary Care physician to provide comprehensive care for veterans in the Shawnee, Kansas area. You will diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of medical conditions, and collaborate with specialists and primary care staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Physician must meet basic medical licensure requirements.
• Board certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent clinical and communication skills with veterans care focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care for a diverse veteran patient population.
• Diagnose and manage routine and complex medical conditions.
• Collaborate with specialists and VA staff to coordinate care.
• Follow VA clinical guidelines and maintain thorough documentation.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and CME as applicable.
