Job summary

Yale Health in New Haven, CT, seeks a part-time Primary Care Physician to join its Internal Medicine team. The physician provides comprehensive primary care for an assigned panel, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, and participates in quality improvement projects.

Schedule: 22.5 hours per week with flexibility, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays. On-call rotation included.

Qualifications

• Holds or is eligible to hold a CT Medical License.
• Possesses CT Controlled Substance Registration.
• Has or is eligible for Federal DEA Registration.
• Board Certification or eligibility for board certification.

Responsibilities

• Defines and documents patients’ clinical problems and reaches proper diagnoses; plans treatment and keeps care records.
• Conducts rounds and signs out patients; responds to calls and pages promptly.
• Participates in hospital coverage including on-call rotations and rounds.
• Sees patients in Acute Care during rotation; may perform other duties as assigned.
