Job summary

American Health Network, part of the Optum family, seeks a Primary Care Physician to join our Indianapolis, IN team. This physician-led care organization emphasizes quality and patient-centered care within a national framework.

You will collaborate across care teams, perform select in-office procedures, and engage in quality programs while enjoying flexible scheduling and opportunities for leadership and advancement.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted medical licensure in the state or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Med‑Peds.
• Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient panel with the support and resources needed to practice at the peak of your license.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including care coordinators, behavioral health, pharmacy, and other care providers at the practice.
• Perform in‑office procedures such as simple skin surgery, fracture care, joint injections, maternity care, IUDs, etc. (if desired).
• Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives.
• Educate and empower your patients to take ownership of their health.
