Job summary

American Health Network, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our Lafayette, IN team. This physician-led, team-based care model emphasizes quality and outcomes over volume, with a flexible schedule (4 or 4.5 days/week) and strong support staff.

You’ll work with interdisciplinary teams, utilize advanced technology and national resources, and have leadership and teaching opportunities while delivering comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted medical licensure in Indiana or able to obtain prior to start.
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine or Med-Peds.
• Active and unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
• Participate in quality and population health initiatives.
• Educate and engage patients in their care.
