Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical program
• Licensed as a physician in Maryland
• Completed required CME credits for licensure
• Board Certified in relevant specialty

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Initial evaluation and treatment of patients, including history, physical exam, and documentation in EMR
• Writing orders according to hospital policy and patient needs
• Discussing findings with colleagues and staff
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment as needed
• Evaluating medical, social, and educational needs
• Referring patients to appropriate resources and documenting these actions
• Providing patient and family education on health and treatment plans
• Participating in ongoing educational activities and mandatory training
