About the role

Are you a licensed medical doctor interested in gaining experience in humanitarian emergency medical care? UK-Med is a frontline medical aid charity with over 30 years of experience, originating from the NHS, working towards universal healthcare during crises.

We seek Medical Doctors specializing in Emergency Medicine, eager to expand their knowledge in humanitarian settings. You should be available to travel and work internationally for at least 4-6 weeks, supporting health needs of displaced populations.

Candidate profile
  • Fully licensed and experienced in Emergency Medicine
  • Experience treating both adults and children in emergency settings
  • Competent in diagnosis and treatment across a broad spectrum of conditions
  • Experience in low-resource/humanitarian environments
  • Current medical license and membership of a recognized registering organization
  • Qualifications in Emergency Medicine
  • High performance, compassionate, collaborative, with a learning mindset
  • Language skills are an advantage
