Job summary

The Robert J Dole VA Medical Center in Salina, KS is seeking a full-time Physician for Primary Care to serve Veterans. You will oversee comprehensive medical care, mentor residents, and collaborate with a diverse clinical team.

Responsibilities include patient evaluation, care coordination, and participation in committees. Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with competitive pay, sign-on options, and Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) support.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen per VA policy.
• MD/DO degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
• Completed residency in an accredited program leading to board eligibility.
• Possession of board certification may be required for faculty status.
• english proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to Veterans.
• Coordinate with residents and mid-level practitioners in patient evaluation and management.
• Perform consultations and coordinate care within and outside the VA system.
• Participate in education, research, and hospital committees as appropriate.
• Maintain continuous quality improvement through peer review and teamwork.
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.
