Job summary

One Medical, based in Washington, DC, is seeking a full-time internal or family medicine physician to deliver high‑quality primary care. You will manage a diverse patient panel, provide in-person and telehealth visits, and participate in weekly rounds and team huddles.

The role requires residency training, board certification or eligibility within a year, and DC licensure. You will collaborate with in‑person and virtual teams, supervise NP/PA colleagues, and pursue additional state licensure for

• Must have completed or be enrolled in an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency.
• Board certification in Internal or Family Medicine, or eligibility with plans to certify within 1 year.
• State medical license for Washington, DC, prior to start date.
• Outpatient primary care experience in the last 5 years (2 of 5 years).

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient panel with a broad array of needs across acute, chronic, and well visits.
• Treat patients in-office or in testing centers; conduct tele-health visits as needed.
• Participate in weekly clinical rounds and other learning modalities.
• Collaborate with in-office teammates and virtual clinical teams daily.
• Perform in-office procedures as trained and supervised.
• Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues.
• Obtain additional state licensure/credentialing for virtual care in other states.

What You'll Be Working On

• Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conduct a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits.
• Treat patients in‑office or in testing centers as well as conduct occasional tele-health visits.
• Continuous learning during weekly clinical rounds and through other modalities.
• Ongoing collaboration with in‑office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams.
• Utilize specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in‑office procedures.
• Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues.
• Be willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states.

Education, Licenses, and Experiences Required For This Role

• Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program.
• Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting.
• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date.
• State licensed in Washington, DC, obtained before your One Medical start date.

This is a full‑time role based in the heart of DC at our Farragut Square Office.

One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this role is $253,200 to $302,700 based on a full‑time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
