Job summary

One Medical is hiring a full-time physician in Arlington, VA to manage a diverse patient panel across acute, chronic, and preventive care. You will treat patients in-office or at testing centers and participate in telehealth visits while collaborating with in-office and virtual teams.

Requirements include completing an Internal or Family Medicine residency, 2 of the last 5 years in outpatient care, board certification or eligibility, and Virginia licensure prior to start.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in, or completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program.
• Practiced in outpatient primary care in the last 5 years.
• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year.
• State medical license in Virginia before start date.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient panel with a broad range of needs including acute, chronic, and well visits.
• Treat patients in-office or in testing centers and conduct occasional tele-health visits.
• Engage in ongoing learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities.
• Collaborate with in-office teammates and virtual clinical teams daily.
• Utilize clinical training to perform in-office procedures when appropriate.
• Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues.
• Obtain additional state licensure/credentialing for virtual primary care in other states.

What you'll be working on:

• Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
• Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
• Supervising one or more NP or PA colleagues
• Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states

Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:

• Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
• Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting
• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
• State licensed in Virginia, obtained before your One Medical start date

This is a full-time role based in Arlington, VA

One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The base salary range for this role is 253,200 - 302,700 based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule.
