Job summary

Carbon Health in Boston is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join a nationwide network with a 4-day work week, no call, and holidays off. You’ll deliver compassionate, patient-centered care as part of a high-performing team.

You’ll lead and supervise a team of MAs and PAs/NPs, perform exams, pap smears, labs, and imaging interpretations, and focus on quality outcomes for adult patients in a tech-driven healthcare environment.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified (MD/DO) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and unrestricted DEA license.
  • Licensed (or eligible) to practice in your state.
  • Committed to patient-centered, relationship-driven care.
  • Comfortable providing basic women’s health services.
  • Passionate about innovation, continuous learning, and technology-driven care.
  • Skilled at fostering a positive, respectful team environment.
  • BLS certification is required and must be obtained before your first day with Carbon Health.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient-focused history and physical exams.
  • Provide basic women’s health services, including Pap smears.
  • Develop evidence-based workups and treatment plans.
  • Care for adult patients (no pediatrics).
  • Interpret x-rays, labs, and EKGs.
  • Manage patient flow efficiently with Central Support assistance.
  • Provide leadership for your team of MAs and support staff.
  • Supervise assigned PAs/NPs.
  • Manage a patient panel with an emphasis on quality outcomes.
