Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a primary care physician to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan, a full-service community hospital in New York, NY.

The hospital provides culturally sensitive care to patients from all five boroughs in a modern environment, maintaining a strong academic affiliation with New York Medical College.

Opportunity Details

• Examine patients, order and perform diagnostic tests, and formulate diagnoses in an outpatient setting.
• Give guidance and directions to the house staff and other members of the healthcare team.
• Provide guidance and participate in the teaching of house staff, in staff conferences, and in research projects as directed.
• Assist in the administration and coordination of the service.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Active New York State medical license.
• Active DEA license.

Compensation

• Annual base salary: $236,000 (board eligible) or $241,000 (board certified) based on a 40‑hour work week.
• Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
• Estimated total annual compensation: $315,120 (board eligible) or $320,620 (board certified).
• Estimated compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours per week: $55,520.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000, contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) company contribution: 3% immediately vested; additional 7% after one year of service. No employee match required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) reimbursement.
