Job summary

MaxHealth MSO, a Texas-based management services organization, is seeking a primary care/direct primary care provider to join a collaborative team. The role combines traditional primary care with direct primary care, plus services in exercise and nutritional counseling, injury recovery and brain health.

You will assess patients, lead clinic operations, and contribute to patient access and care quality while advancing a consumer-forward, tech-enabled care model.

Qualifications

• Current Texas medical license is required.
• Board certification or eligibility in relevant specialty (Family Medicine / Internal Medicine / Primary Care).
• Demonstrated leadership, teaching, evaluation and communication skills.
• Ability to influence/motivate colleagues at all professional and administrative levels.
• Relocation to start work is required.

An innovative, independently owned Family, Internal & Sports Medicine clinic is looking for a primary care/direct primary care provider who is excited to help lead a collaborative team. MaxHealth has earned a reputation as being one of the most innovative and integrated practices in the DFW area and across the state. In addition to traditional primary care, MaxHealth offers direct primary care, plus services in exercise and nutritional counseling, injury recovery and prevention, personal injury and brain health just to name a few. In addition to a wide range of patient support service unlike what you have seen in any other primary care setting, we also are breaking the mold on how care is delivered. Our consumer forward, tech-enabled clinics are working to shed the traditional fee-for-service care delivery models so patients can receive care the way they prefer, and providers can deliver care in ways that make sense.

Responsibilities

• Systematically assesses patients' health status arrives at appropriate diagnos(es) and implements a care plan for effective clinical outcomes.
• Contributes to effective and efficient practice management policies and practices that support patient access to medical care.
• Manage patient care through appropriate use of available resources.
• Provides leadership for practice and community relations.
• Demonstrates commitment to fellow employees and to the practice.

Requirements

• License/Certification: current valid Texas medical license required
• Complies with all relevant laws, regulations and policies
• Contributes to a safe working environment
• Meets applicable credentialing and privileging standards for specialty
• Board certification in relevant specialty or Board Eligibility working towards Board Certification
• Demonstrated leadership, teaching, evaluation and communication skills
• Ability to influence/motivate others at all professional and administrative levels
