Job Summary:
Southern Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Provider to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient-centered care to a diverse patient population. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred to better serve our Spanish-speaking community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including preventative care, chronic disease management, and acute care.
* Conduct thorough patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and continuous care.
* Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventative care strategies.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to evidence-based clinical guidelines.
* Foster a culturally sensitive environment to meet the needs of a diverse patient population, with a focus on Spanish-speaking individuals when applicable.
Skills and Competencies:
* Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse patient populations.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
* Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
* Culturally competent care delivery with sensitivity to the needs of Spanish-speaking patients.
* Education: MD, DO,from an accredited program.
* Licensure/Certification:
* Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty.
* Active medical license in the state of [State].
* DEA license and BLS certification required.
* Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
* Experience: Prior experience in primary care or outpatient settings is desirable.
