Job summary

United Future is seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician in Pittsburgh, PA to deliver comprehensive outpatient care in a community health setting. Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm with one evening shift, relocation assistance offered.

Responsibilities include comprehensive exams, labs, imaging interpretation, referrals, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. Strong EMR skills and bilingual Spanish-English ability are required, with a PA license or eligibility.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active Pennsylvania medical license (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform complete physical exams and preventative care services.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging (including X-rays, CTs, MRIs as appropriate).
• Prescribe medications and coordinate referrals to specialists when needed.
• Perform in-office procedures within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR.
• Provide follow-up care and patient education to individuals and families.
• Collaborate with behavioral health and other clinical teams to support integrated care.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of clinical support staff as needed.
• Participate in community health education initiatives.
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies within the clinical setting.
