The Tennessee Valley Health Care System is seeking a Primary Care Physician to oversee care for Veterans enrolled in our clinic. You will lead and coordinate a Patient Aligned Care Team, perform exams, prescribe medications, and manage a panel of outpatients.
Strong leadership and communication are required to integrate with staff and residents. Applicants should have a Doctor of Medicine or equivalent, current unrestricted US license, and VA-eligible residency credentials.

The Primary Care Physician serves as a practicing physician who is responsible for the overall management of patients enrolled for healthcare services provided by the Tennessee Valley Health Care System. Responsible for administrative tasks associated with clinic operations - provides leadership and direction to support staff assigned to their PACT (Patient Aligned Care Team).
To qualify for this position - you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements (if applicable) listed in the job announcement. Currently employed physician(s) in VA who met the requirements for appointment under the previous qualification standard at the time of their initial appointment are deemed to have met the basic requirements of the occupation.
