Job summary

One Medical in Jersey City, NJ, seeks a physician to oversee a patient panel, deliver in-person and telehealth care, and participate in ongoing clinical rounds. The role includes collaboration with in-office and virtual teams and potential supervision of NP/PA colleagues.

Requirements include an Internal/Family Medicine residency and NJ licensure, with board certification or eligibility and willingness to pursue multi-state credentials as needed. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in New Jersey at start date.
• Completed or enrolled in an accredited residency in Internal or Family Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient panel with acute, chronic, and well visits.
• Treat patients in-office, in testing centers, and via tele-health when needed.
• Lead weekly Clinical Rounds and collaborate with in-office and virtual teams.
• Supervise NP/PA colleagues as assigned.
• Possibly obtain additional state licensure for multi-state virtual care.

Employment type:

• Full time, 32 hours per week

What you'll be working on:

• Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
• Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
• Supervising one or more NP or PA colleagues
• Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states

Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:

• Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
• Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting
• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
• State licensed in New Jersey, obtained before your One Medical start date

This is a full-time role based in Jersey City, NJ.

The base salary range for this role is $258,500 to $274,700 per year based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
