Job summary

Conviva Primary Care in Daytona, FL is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our on-site clinic. You will report to the Associate Medical Director and work Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with the opportunity for longer 45-minute visits.

We require an MD/DO, board certification or eligibility in geriatrics, family, or internal medicine, a valid Florida license, and a DEA license. Two years of experience and Medicare Advantage familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and board-certified/board-eligible in geriatrics, family, or internal medicine.
• Valid Florida medical license or ability to obtain one, and active/ unrestricted DEA license.
• Minimum two years clinical experience; Medicare Advantage panel management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• See an average of 15 patients per day in a Monday–Friday on-site clinic.
• Provide longer 45-minute visits for comprehensive care.
• Report to the Associate Medical Director and maintain on-site presence in Daytona, FL.

Conviva Primary Care, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., is looking for a primary care physician for our clinic in Daytona, FL.

As a Primary Care Physician, you will report to the Associate Medical Director. You will be on-site at our Daytona, FL. clinic.

A day in the life of a Conviva physician

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
• See an average of 15 patients per day
• Longer authorized appointments (45 minutes)
• You will be on-site

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Valid, unrestricted license in the state of Florida or able to obtain one.
• Current, unrestricted DEA license
• Screened for TB
• Minimum of two years of experience
• 1+ years of experience managing a Medicare Advantage patients panel
• Associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$255,000 - $298,500 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
