Job summary

Humana's CenterWell Primary Care is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our team in Chesapeake, VA. This full-time role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care for adults and seniors with a collaborative practice style.

The physician will deliver outpatient services, maintain records, and participate in quality improvement initiatives within a multidisciplinary team. Board-certified in Family/Internal/Geriatric Medicine preferred; VA license required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school is required.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Virginia is required.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine is required.
• TB screening may be required for selected candidates.

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient care to adult and senior patients.

Main Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
• If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in value-based care or managing high-acuity geriatric patients.
• Bilingual English/Spanish

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$255,000 - $298,500 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
