Job summary

High Rock Internal Medicine in Lexington, NC is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to deliver primary care within an independent, physician-led practice. You will join a collaborative team with mentorship, support, and a biopsychosocial care model.

You will care for medically complex adults, build lasting relationships with patients, and contribute to a high-quality care program that emphasizes accessibility, equity, and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NCCPA-accredited Physician Assistant program or an ANCC-accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• PA/NP licensed to work in North Carolina, or eligible for licensure.
• NCCPA or ANCC Certification required.
• Current DEA registration required.
• BLS required; ACLS required if clinical.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered primary care.
• Build lasting relationships with patients and families.
• Support management of complex chronic disease populations.
• Collaborate with behavioral health and ancillary services.
• Participate in practice improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted healthcare advocate within the community.
