Job summary

Carbon Health is hiring a Primary Care Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) in California. You will provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoy a 4-day work week with no call, no weekends, and holidays off.

Responsibilities include histories, exams, women's health services, and evidence-based treatment plans for adult patients. Strong teamwork and use of CarbyOS EHR are emphasized.

Qualifications

  • Certified NP or PA with an active state license
  • Current national certification and unrestricted DEA license
  • At least 1 year of primary care experience
  • Comfortable providing adult care and basic women’s health services
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable, with a passion for patient-centered innovation
  • Dedicated to teamwork, transparency, and continuous learning
  • BLS certification required before first day

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough patient histories and physical exams
  • Provide basic women’s health services, including Pap smears
  • Develop evidence-based workups and treatment plans
  • Care for adult patients (no pediatrics)
  • Interpret x-rays, lab results, and EKGs
  • Manage patient flow with Central Support team
  • Provide leadership for medical assistants and clinic staff
  • Consult supervising physicians as needed within scope of practice
  • Manage a patient panel with a focus on evidence-based quality care
