Carbon Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a Primary Care Clinician role in California. Enjoy a 4-day work week, no call, no weekends, and holidays off, with a supportive team and competitive compensation.

You will perform histories and exams, provide women’s health services, manage patient panels, lead staff, and collaborate with supervising physicians in a modern, tech‑driven clinic.

Qualifications

• Certified NP or PA with an active state license.
• Current national certification and unrestricted DEA license.
• At least 1 year of primary care or similar clinical experience.
• Comfortable providing adult care and basic women’s health services.
• Tech‑savvy and adaptable, with a passion for patient‑centered innovation.
• Dedicated to teamwork, transparency, and continuous learning.
• BLS certification is required before first day.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient histories and physical exams.
• Provide basic women’s health services, including Pap smears.
• Develop evidence‑based workups and treatment plans.
• Care for adult patients (no pediatrics).
• Interpret x‑rays, lab results, and EKGs.
• Manage patient flow with Central Support team.
• Provide leadership for medical assistants and clinic staff.
• Consult supervising physicians as needed within scope of practice.
• Manage a patient panel with a focus on evidence‑based quality care.
