Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an Advanced Practice Practitioner to join the Primary Care outpatient team in Cartersville. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday and will care for adults and pediatrics, including newborns, under PCP supervision.

You will perform clinical assessments, order and interpret tests, document findings, and collaborate with IM providers to support comprehensive, timely patient care in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Master's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited PA program with national certification.
• Georgia state NP licensure with national certification.

• Emphasize health promotion as well as acute and chronic disease management.
• Augment a physician's ability to provide medical services to patients.
• Collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations and provide direct patient care services.
• The APP will work collaboratively with multiple IM providers in the care of the PCPs patient panel.
