Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our Primary Care Outpatient team in Canton, GA. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, and serves both adults and pediatrics, including newborns.

You will work with a physician group to provide high-quality care in a collaborative environment. Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of experience as a PA or NP, a master's (and bachelor's) from an accredited PA program, National Board Certification, and GA NP

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Master's and Bachelor's from an Accredited PA program with National Board Certification.
• Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by the State of Georgia with National Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services to individuals, families and/or groups.
• Emphasize health promotion as well as acute and chronic disease management.
• Augment a physician's ability to provide medical services to patients.
• Collect and document data, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order tests and provide direct patient care.
• Collaborate with multiple IM providers in caring for the PCP's patient panel.

Overview:

Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Practitioner to join the Primary Care team at our Outpatient Practice. The position is full time, Monday through Friday. This position will see adults and pediatrics (including newborns).

Advanced Practice Practitioner - Primary Care Outpatient

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical services to individuals, families and/or groups.


• Emphasize health promotion as well as acute and chronic disease management.


• Augment a physician's ability to provide medical services to patients.


• Collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations and provide direct patient care services.


• The APP will work collaboratively with multiple IM providers in the care of the PCPs patient panel.

Qualifications:
