Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for an outpatient VA clinic in Alamogordo, NM. You will join a highly autonomous primary care team, manage your own patient panel, and focus on veteran-centered continuity of care.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no nights, weekends, or federal holidays. A competitive base salary in the $130k–$160k range plus sign-on, relocation, PTO, CME allowance, and full benefits.

Qualifications

• FNP certification required for practice in outpatient primary care.
• Minimum 2 years of outpatient primary care experience.
• Strong background in chronic disease management.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to veterans in an outpatient setting.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia.
• Work in a collaborative VA team to ensure continuity of care.

A respected outpatient VA clinic in Alamogordo is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join a highly autonomous, patient-centered primary care team. This is an excellent opportunity for providers who enjoy continuity of care, chronic disease management, and working with a veteran population in a collaborative setting.

Opportunity Highlights

• 100% outpatient primary care
• Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Optional 4-day workweek flexibility
• Independent provider role with your own patient panel
• Team-based PACT model with RN, LVN/LPN, MA, and administrative support
• Strong integrated support from mental health and pharmacy teams

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $130,000–$160,000+ (based on experience)

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
