Job summary

QuadMed is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting to focus on prevention, wellness, and patient education. Under physician collaboration, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients, order tests, prescribe medications, and participate in ongoing quality improvement.

The role requires a master's level NP, 3+ years in primary care, independence, EMR experience, and travel may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• Master's nurse practitioner program completed.
• Minimum 3 years primary care practice experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Travel may be required in some locations.
• Phlebotomy may be required in some locations.
• Active and unrestricted NP licensure; DEA/NPI; CPR/BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive clinical patient care and prescribes medications.
• Documents findings and plans in the medical record.
• Educates patients about prevention, wellness, and treatments.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests as needed.
• Collaborates with physicians and other staff for patient care.
