Job summary

The South Bend Clinic's OB/GYN University Commons clinic in Mishawaka is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our collaborative team and help expand high-quality care for our community. Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of licensed AP provider experience in a clinical setting.

You will perform patient examinations, develop care plans, coordinate with supervising physicians, and support procedures within your scope, while delivering compassionate, patient-centered

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required from an accredited PA/NP program.
• Current state licensure as PA/NP and RN.
• CPR (BLS) certification current.
• DEA license may be required depending on prescriptive authority.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient examinations and treatment within scope of practice.
• Order labs, x-ray and other non-invasive tests; collaborate with supervising physicians.
• Prescribe medications with physician oversight as allowed.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and care plans.

Skills

CPR (BLS) certification

State licensure: PA/NP and RN

DEA license may be required

Education
