Job summary

Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan, seeks a dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its internal medicine clinic. This full-time role encompasses 36 patient contact hours and 4 administrative hours weekly, with an 8:00am–5:00pm schedule and 1-in-8 weekday call.

The ideal candidate will have NP or PA credentials, state licensure, and experience in coordinating multidisciplinary care. EPIC EMR is used, with on-site labs and imaging available.

Qualifications

• Requires Master's Degree for NP or PA credentials.
• MI state licensure for NP/PA required at hire.
• Doctorate preferred for NP track.
• Experience in primary care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care across multiple disciplines within and outside the health system.
• Provide education to patients and families and act as patient advocate.
• Document and write orders, prescriptions, and plan care in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and health team to ensure quality patient care.
