Job summary

Corewell Health Urgent Care in Rochester, MI is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team. You will provide high-quality medical care for adults and children, work with center physicians, and uphold our commitment to exceptional patient service.

The role requires an advanced degree, Michigan licensure, and board eligibility, with responsibilities including procedures, documentation, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and licensed to practice medicine in the state
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP/PA program
• Licensed NP/PA in Michigan
• Current DEA registration
• DOT certification
• Experience with suturing and abscess drainage
• Experience reading X-ray/EKG diagnostics
• BLS certification (provided if needed)
• Credentialing requirements per WellStreet Urgent Care
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care for adults and children with physicians
• Deliver exceptional patient satisfaction by adhering to service standards
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
• Support operations and contribute to team training and development
• Maintain certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS) as required
