Job summary

The University of Oregon's University Health Services seeks a Medical Practitioner to evaluate, diagnose, treat, and prescribe care for students in primary care clinics. This academic-year, 1.0 FTE position reports to the Medical Director and collaborates with the lead physician.

The role requires Oregon licensure for NP or PA with national certification, ability to obtain by start date, and commitment to patient care, mental health, reproductive health, and infectious disease.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon license as RN and NP certification or ability to obtain by start date.
• Oregon license as PA with national certification or ability to obtain by start date.
• 2000 hours of clinical work for PAs (preferred)
• Current DEA license or ability to obtain by start date.
• AHA CPR certification or ability to obtain by start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and/or prescribe health care for University of Oregon students in primary care clinics.
• Work under Medical Director and with lead physician in primary care clinics.
• Academic year schedule; may extend into breaks/summer to meet needs; occasional weekends or extended hours.
