Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in the outpatient primary care setting to collaborate with physicians in family medicine, women's health and internal medicine. The role includes performing minimally invasive procedures and managing a stable patient population.

Responsibilities cover patient assessment, orders and interpretation of tests, assisting in procedures, and pre/post-operative care, with emphasis on safety, quality, and adherence to state regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree is required.
• AANP Certification and CNP Certification are required.
• COA as CNS in Ohio is required/licensed.
• RN license is required.
• APRN certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Works under direction and in consultation with physician.
• Assesses and evaluates patients, H&Ps, orders and interprets diagnostic tests.
• Assists in diagnostic and invasive procedures.
• Pre-operative and post-operative care, writes orders, discharges, etc.
• Promotes quality outcomes and initiatives.
